Ring a bell?

You might think that this idiom refers to someone ringing a bell – perhaps in a church or on a ship?
But you’d be wrong.

But in fact anything that sounds familiar to you would ‘ring’ your ‘memory bell’.
Here are some examples:
“That project name rings a bell but I can’t remember the details exactly….”
“Thanks for the information but that description doesn’t ring any bells with me”

To fill out the booking form, simply...
