Pros and Cons – Home-office vs the office

Working from home has its pitfalls, those include such things as:
–          Working whilst at the same time taking care of (as well as educating) the kids
–          Having to plan and prepare food
–          Sitting for most of the day. Being lonely, depressive.
–          Missing the work canteen as well as formal but also informal contacts with friends and colleagues

But it’s not all bad:
–          Flexibility of working from home.
–          Creativity is better in a quieter environment and not in a large open and loud office space

What about?
–          Is it more efficient to work together at the office location?
–          How can we put a value on topics such as ‘personal contact’?
–          How important to business success is personal contact and cultural understanding?
–          What does ‘business essential’ mean in terms of travel?
–          How best to manage and delegate across both real and virtual worlds?
